I've just done the final corrections for 'One Elf Too Many' which should be coming out in the  next couple of weeks. I've also almost completed the revisions of 'Prove a Villain' which hopefully will go off to Cheyenne after the weekend. It's all getting rather exciting. Then of course I have to tackle making a website...

Six thousand more words to come out of 'Prove A Villain'. I can do this! I know it will improve the story, because my characters tend to wander about and chat too much. Next time I'm writing about Silent Men Of Action.

I heard today that Cheyenne are going to offer me a contract for 'Prove A Villain'! This is such good news that I can hardly believe it. I seem to have been working on that manuscript for so long, changing it from a would-be-straight-and-conventional story into the tale I really wanted to tell, and now it's going to be published. I've just sent 'Prove A Villain' off to Cheyenne, so now comes the worst part - waiting for the verdict. The thing is, I could have gone on editing it for ever if I let myself. I keep reminding myself that I'm not getting any younger!
